The Ranch
The land holdings of the Kelley family date back
to the early days of California as their ancestors, the Stevinsons,
settled in Merced County in 1852. The property remains in a natural
undisturbed state and includes some of the finest riparian, wetland,
agricultural and ranching landscapes remaining in the Central Valley of
California.
The property is part of the expansive San Joaquin
Valley Grasslands which are the largest contiguous block of wetlands
remaining in California and the wintering home of over 1 million
waterfowl. Many species of water birds can be observed on the ranch
lands throughout the year, including ducks, geese and sandhill cranes.
