Sports radio, 94.1FM, KBKY in Merced.
FOX Sports, 94.1FM is the only ALL sports formatted
radio station in Merced County. They are a three year
affiliate for the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles
Lakers. In addition, they are the central valley affiliate
for the San Jose Sharks and carry NCAA football and basketball;
as well as NASCAR Nextel Cup races.
FOX Sports carries top national sports talk personalities,
seven days a week; including Jim Rome, weekdays from 9A-12P.
One of their top features is the "Afternoon Sports
Battle", weekdays from 4P-7P. It is the central valley's
ONLY live call-in show; originating from the KBKY studios,
and hosted by Jim Wells and Matt Stone.
KBKY, Fox Sports,
is located on the FM dial at 94.1; and is the only FM
sports station in Northern CA. It's signals stretches
from Turlock to Fresno, and Los Banos to Mariposa.
