Stevinson Ranch Golf Club
selected most outstanding premium daily fee facility
by the National Golf Foundation
Stevinson, Ca. – Stevinson Ranch
Golf Club has been recognized as the nation’s
highest rated golf course in the Premium Daily Fee
category based on customer loyalty from the NGF
(National Golf Foundation). The NGF presented the
3rd annual Customer Loyalty Awards to golf facilities
that received high approval ratings from their customers
in various operational segments. The awards were
presented last month at the Professional Golf of
America (PGA) Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.
“We are very pleased to receive
this prestigious award because it is based completely
on our customers experiences, and that is what Stevinson
Ranch is about…Great Golf Experiences,”
stated George Kelley, Stevinson Ranch founder.
The Customer Loyalty Awards are based
on surveys fielded through NGF’s CLASPTM (Customer
Loyalty and Satisfaction Program) in 2004. As part
of this program, customers rate their satisfaction
with facility amenities, course conditions, service
and value.
“Golfer loyalty is critical
to the long-term success of facilities, and CLASPTM
provides the focused insight on operations that
can positively affect a course’s performance,”
said Andy Allen, NGF’s membership director.
“The awards are based completely on consumer
response. The winners of these awards should be
applauded for being recognized by their most important
audience: their customers.” Winners were selected
from the more than 400 courses participating in
CLASPTM, which now has over 100,000 surveys in the
system.
NGF presented awards in three categories,
each containing an overall winner and nine runners-up.
The overall winner for the 2004 CLASPTM Awards in
the Premium Daily Fee category is Stevinson Ranch
Golf Club in Stevinson, Calif. In the Daily Fee
and Municipal Facility categories, the winners are
Rock Creek Golf Club in Fairhope, Ala., and Harbor
Links Golf Course in Port Washington, N.Y., respectively.
