B.C. Open

Everything going into this week went extremely well! Unfortunately I was in my own way during the first round. I am playing great again and my second round showed that. Seven under was the worst that I could have shot that day. Coming back with a great round like that after a rough one shows me that I have grown as a player. I am very positive about the next tournament. Patience is my number one thought right now. I know that great things are ahead and I just have to be patient and let them happen. Looking forward to next week at the U.S. Bank Championship.

John Deere Classic

I had a pretty good week at the John Deere Classic. Laird Small came into town for three days and gave me some needed help with my golf swing. When he left I felt like I was headed in the right direction again. My ball stiking came back to where it needs to be and my short game is better than it has ever been. The golf course was a very fun layout and in pretty good condition. The support from the people in the quad cities area was outstanding. Even though I only shot 10 under par, I felt like I didn't get all that much out of my rounds. I know that sounds funny but I feel like I am getting closer to showing how I can really play. The weather was pretty hot and humid during the week, but the weekend was the hottest I have ever been on a golf course. I guess it was a good thing that Ms. Wie didn't play the weekend because who knows what would have happened to her. I hope everything is going great back at the Ranch and I will report back next week.

Booze Allan & Buick Open

I want to start out by saying sorry for the delay since my last log in. I lost my computer charger and had to order a new one. These two tournaments were a struggle for me, but I had stretches of good play during the rounds. Even though I didn't make the cut both times I still learned from my experiences. I had some good feelings and thoughts come back during the good stretches. After every tournament that I play in, everything gets more and more confortable. I am really looking forward to the five tournaments that I am going to play in a row. It will give me a chance to get on a roll and feed off of some good play.
