Shell Houston Open
Each week is a learning experience. I am having to deal with all the differnent things that can happen to you such as injury, illness,....etc. When I got there on Sunday I had started to feel a bit under the weather and then woke up monday morning not being able to move and I unfortunatly found out that I had strept throat! So I was unable to practice Monday thru Wednesday, but was able to tee it up on thursday. I was pretty weak but tried to battle through it and I am now stronger because of it. The positive thing is that I am putting much better and so I am excited for next week in New Orleans.

Bell South Classic
Going into this week I felt like I could win again. And again I played great from tee to green put was then let down by not making any putts. But there is good news behind this though. I figured some things out in my putting on the last nine holes of the second round and have been working on them very hard during my time off. I am hitting my putts more solid than I ever have and my confidence is rising when I am over the ball. My level of confortability out on tour is starting to get very high now and I cant wait to get back out there next week. I got to play a practice round in Atlanta with the Asian cowboy, Shingo Kateyama. He is an extremely nice guy and very solid player. I will be headed to the Shell Houston Open next week and then to New Orleans the following week. It will be nice to get to play more than one tournament in a row for the first time this year and my game is really starting to sharpin up heading into these tournaments. Thanks to everyone again for the outstanding support!

Canadian Tour Win~
The week at Brookside CC was an awesome week for me. I was givin the opportunity to play some competitive golf in front of family and friends and took full advantage of it by getting the victory. It was an awesome confidence booster for me since I havent been able to play in too many PGA events yet this year. A win is a win in my mind no matter what tour it is on and I am going to use this extra boost to improve what I am doing out on tour. The most important thing that I experienced in the win was that I was put in the pressure cooker and I performed with excelence. I played great from tee to green all week and sunday just happend to be the day that I didnt really make any putts until it mattered most. The putt that I made on the last hole of regulation from about 12 feet was such a great feeling because to be honest I dont really remember hitting the putt. I just remember looking at my target and then the next thing I remembered was picking the ball out of the hole. I tried to end the playoff sooner than I did by making my chip for eagle but it lipped out and all I had to do was make the 6 footer for the victory. It was a great feeling!
