03/26/2007: "Chitimacha Classic"

It feels great to be back playing tournament golf again! My game is really starting to come on. I felt like my experiences from last year are starting to shine through. The Nationwide Tour has a little different feel than the PGA Tour, but it is a great stage to sharpen my game. This is going to be a great year that will help me prepare for the PGA tour next year.
Louisiana was pretty cool place. The great southern culture, great food and extremely laid back people. The support that these people gave out was above and beyond the the call of duty. The golf course was all bermuda grass and in good shape. I played a pro am with one of the largest alchohol distributers in the lafaette area and hey was a great guy to meet. He was actually a pretty good player as well. Everyone that was on my pro am team came out and followed along during the tournament to give their support. This was just another great example of the way these people are. I would suggest to go down there sometime and check it out because I had a great time!
