05/29/2006: "Fed Ex St. Jude Classic"

If anyone ever thinks that it gets hot in California, they haven't ever been to Memphis. When you have 90 to 95 degree temps. with 90% humidity, that's when you can say it is HOT! The golf course that we played this week changed its greens two years ago. They used to be bent grass greena that were extremely soft. Now they are champions bermuda and they are extremely firm and have a ton of grain. I found that the tough part was that the grain doesn't lay over like normal bermuda. The ball almost hovers on top of the grass so it's very difficult to read putts. I hit the ball well all week with the exception of a couple bad swings. Unfourtunitly I lipped out more putts than I have in any other tournament. On a positive note I did make the cut. I feel like I'm an inch away from really breaking through. I feel like my game is really starting to come together at the right time. I am extremely excited to finally get the oppurtinty to play multipe tournments in a row. Thank you so much for everyones support it means the world to me. I couldn't do it without you!!!
